According to Turkmen state media, the contest’s final was held Oct. 7 at the Ruhyýet Palace in Turkmenbashi. Twelve contestants competed for the main title. The jury evaluated their creative performances, knowledge of the Tatar language, culture and traditions.

Turkmenistan hosted the final of the international Tatar Kyzy contest for the first time. Under the contest rules, the final is held in the country or region of origin of the previous year’s winner. In 2025, the title went to Alsu Rafikova from Dashoguz.
