SCRMET Sells Technical Sulfur for $138 Million

Businesspeople from Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and Türkiye concluded deals to purchase lump technical sulfur from the state-owned Türkmengaz concern totaling $138 million at Thursday’s trading session of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET), the exchange reported.

In addition, business representatives from Azerbaijan purchased cotton yarn worth $461,214.

On the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased cotton fabrics from Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Textile Industry for 9.758 million manat.

A total of six deals were concluded at the SCRMET on Thursday.
