Ashgabat will host the CIET 2026 international exhibition and conference, titled “Development of Turkmenistan’s Construction, Industrial, Chemical and Energy Sectors,” to mark Construction and Industrial Workers’ Day, Turkmenistan’s official media reported.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B.Annammamedov reported on preparations for the events at a Cabinet meeting held via digital communication Friday. Foreign companies, domestic private enterprises and relevant institutions are expected to participate in the exhibition and conference. Bilateral meetings between heads of relevant ministries and sectoral agencies and representatives of foreign companies are also planned as part of the forum.
The events will provide an opportunity to explore modern equipment and advanced technologies in construction, industry, energy, chemicals and road building, exchange experience with foreign partners, strengthen existing ties and establish new business contacts.
Annammamedov submitted a proposal on the events to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for consideration. The President stressed the importance of proper preparations for the exhibition and conference and instructed the Deputy Chairman to ensure they are held to a high standard.
The meeting also addressed several other matters of state, on which corresponding decisions were adopted.
