The sixth edition of the World Winners Cup 2026, an international club beach soccer tournament featuring 44 clubs from five continents, has opened in Alanya, Türkiye. The tournament runs from Oct. 26 to Nov. 1, with men’s and women’s teams competing for the title over one week, the Culture and Tourism Department of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Turkmenistan reported.

The competition is organized by Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW). Matches are being held at the Alanya International Beach Sports Center, which recently received International Center of Excellence (ICoE) status from the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). Alanya is hosting the World Winners Cup again, seven years after the inaugural tournament.

The center’s main arena can accommodate 3,300 spectators and includes four playing courts equipped with professional lighting for evening matches. According to the statement, the tournament has attracted about 800 athletes, officials and journalists from around the world, while matches are being broadcast live in 100 countries. The event coincides with Türkiye’s Republic Day, celebrated on Oct. 29.

Located on the Mediterranean coast of Antalya, Alanya is known for its developed sports infrastructure and hosts more than 24 international sporting events each year. Modern sports facilities and favorable weather have helped establish the city as a key beach sports hub in Europe and the Mediterranean region.
