The private joint-stock commercial bank of Turkmenistan, Rysgal, in cooperation with the international company Mastercard, started to offer its customers the first Maestro cards.
The card, intended for the transfer of wages in national currency, allows you to perform operations with one touch, without inserting it into the payment terminal. This technology is used in Turkmenistan for the first time and allows you to transfer money quickly and safely.
In international practice, contactless Mastercard can currently be used on transactions up to 50 USD.
Cooperation with Mastercard
At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on January 11, the Head of State was informed about the preparatory work carried out by the Rysgal bank to join Mastercard international payment system and presented national versions of international payment cards. In cooperation with Mastercard, the Bank offers Platinum, Gold, Standard, Gift and Temporary cards.
