Charjev etrap is the largest cotton-producing district in Lebap. Correspondingly, the district has its own ginnery, which bears the same name. In addition, it has its own branch, which is unique for a district.
This enterprise pre-processed the last year’s crop in advance. The processed products are then exported to Switzerland and Singapore. Internally, the products are distributed to the textile complex in Ashgabat, cotton-spinning mills in Tejen, Baherden, Sakarchage and Turkmenabat. Such an extensive list of clients highlights the quality of the products.
The new season at the plant is scheduled to begin in the first half of September. Technological equipment, intended for a season-long intensive work, was prepared in due course and at an exceptional quality. The Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan helped with the supply of spare parts of various denominations.
Raw materials for the production are acquired from three centers at different ends of the Charjev etrap (the branch has its own collection point). Consequently, acquired raw materials are transported by the company itself, as it has at its disposal 20 wheeled tractors, 40 trolleys and 4 heavy vehicles with meshed auto - containers.
The company owns capacious warehouses equipped with ventilation, which facilitates the reliable storage of products. Furthermore, it has large barns for sowing material and industrial seeds, which in turn will be shipped for processing to oil extraction plants in Turkmenabat and Akhal provinces.
The last preparations for the new season are also being undertaken at other ten ginneries of the Lebap province.
