The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) hosted a meeting with delegation of the regional representative office of the John Deere American company on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by the UIET board members, heads of the international and agribusiness departments of the Union, and senior representatives of Rysgal Bank.
The guests were informed about the multilateral activities of the Union, its international contacts, and projects carried out by Turkmen entrepreneurs in various sectors of the national economy. The plans for the development of the agricultural industry of the country, taking into account the use of advanced agricultural technologies, equipment and innovative practices, were particularly emphasized during the meeting with the representatives of John Deere company, which is one of the long-standing and reliable partners of the Turkmen agro-industrial complex.
During the meeting, the participants discussed opportunities for expanding contacts on the supply of equipment for private farms of the country.
The delegation of John Deere informed about the American company’s intention to take part in the first Caspian Economic Forum, particularly in the exhibition of innovative technologies, which will showcase the latest models of agricultural machinery.
The world-famous American company has been represented in the Turkmen market for over 25 years, offering the most modern examples of agricultural machinery. The reliability and efficiency of the company’s tractors are highly appreciated by Turkmen farmers.
