Turkmenistan and Austria Discuss Business Cooperation
Since February 2012, Austrian-Turkmen Society is an honorary member of the UIET.

The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) hosted a meeting with business delegation from Austria on August 16.

Chairman of Austrian-Turkmen Society Neda Berger attended the event, UIET reported in its press release.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the UIET Alexander Dadaev informed Austrian guests about the new projects carried out by Turkmen entrepreneurs. The parties noted the positive experience of cooperation between UIET and their Austrian counterparts in such areas as agriculture, food and soft drink production, and the supply of high-tech equipment.

Today, the priority issues of interaction with European partners include joint innovative production in the trade sector, taking into account the ever-growing export potential of domestic producers, and in the field of agriculture, according to the UIET.

Neda Berger informed that the Austrian-Turkmen Society, the members of which are many prominent Austrian and European businesses, is looking into the possibilities of realizing joint projects together with Turkmen entrepreneurs in various spheres of the economy.

The Austrian-Turkmen Society became the first international and European organization to cooperate with the UIET after it established cooperation with the Union in 2012.
