Nurkerem private enterprise, the only private entity in Turkmenistan’s water management system, constructed 20 artificial water reservoirs up till now.
Specialists of Nurkerem constructed the artificial water reservoirs with a total volume of 500 thousand cubic meters for the private agricultural producers of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The enterprise commissioned water reservoirs with volumes ranging from 5 thousand to 300 thousand cubic meters, depending on the irrigational needs of certain crops. The reservoirs are equipped with water saving technologies. Special geomembrane waterproof sheets are used in reservoirs for water conservancy.
Reservoirs can be filled with rainwater, water from underground wells and irrigation systems. The enterprise guarantees the functioning of reservoirs for 15 or more years.
