Türkmenawtoulaglary Agency acquired 70 new Toyota Corolla cars for its taxi park in Ashgabat.
Turkmenistan Transport and Logistics Center OJSC acquired and delivered the Toyota Corolla 2019 models to Ashgabat. The new cars are equipped with electronic tablets to improve the quality of passenger service. An online taxi call service was launched as well.
Türkmenawtoulaglary Agency also acquired 200 units of KAMAZ 6520 trucks.
The trucks from the leading Russian manufacturer will be used in large-scale construction projects in the capital and other regions of Turkmenistan. They have been distributed among enterprises directly managed by the Agency throughout the country as follows: Ashgabat – 40 trucks; Ahal velayat – 50 trucks; Balkan velayat – 20 trucks; Dashoguz velayat – 25 trucks; Lebap velayat – 35 trucks; and Mary velayat – 30 trucks.
According to the Decree signed in June this year by the Head of State, the ministries and departments of Turkmenistan will conclude contracts with KAMAZ FTC CORP. LLP (UK) Corporation for the phased purchase of KAMAZ vehicles (about 2 thousand units) and spare parts for them.
