The specialists of Lebapnebitgazgozleg of the Turkmengeology State Corporation reached 3,100 meters depth at well No. 19, with a target depth of 5,000 meters, in Goturdepe field since the beginning of 2019.
The specialists of the enterprise are equipped with modern drilling equipment designed for deep drilling.
In recent years, most of the drilling equipment has been replaced with much powerful and reliable equipment from leading manufacturers, including the USA, China, and Russia.
Last year, the Lebapnebitgazgozleg specialists drilled an exploratory well with a depth of 4,750 meters in Mary velayat’s Minara field using the high-end equipment. As a result, they obtained an industrial gas inflow with daily debit of more than 1 million cubic meters.
The specialists of the Lebapnebitgazgozleg management also reached a depth of 4,575 meters at Karakum desert’s oil and gas deposit last year.
