President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that it is necessary to efficiently and rationally use raw materials in the country, and to apply comprehensive scientific approach for their further processing and production of goods from them.
The Head of State made the remarks during the working session with participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Charymyrat Purchekov and Minister of Industry and Communication Tahyrberdi Durhanov.
The Vice-premier briefed on the situation in the branches under his supervision, digitization of industrial complex, transport sphere and communication, and improvement of production output of electronic industry.
Turkmen Leader noted that together with current work in the spheres under supervision, it is necessary to pay special attention to further development of international cooperation.
After listening to the briefing of the Minister of Industry and Communication, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the appropriateness of current session for discussion of the issues of strengthening the potential of industrial and communication complex for improving the production in various spheres.
The Head of State said that the complex occupies a special place in the provision of large-scale construction of different facilities in the country with necessary materials as well as in industrial processing of local raw materials, and demanded to study and use advanced practice, scientific achievements and latest technologies. At the same time, the work has to be arranged according to modern requirements in the structures of transport and communication sphere.
Strengthening of equipment and facility base of transport and communication sphere of national economy, the President continued, activation of international cooperation in this direction, increment of cargo and passenger transportation are the main requirements of today.
Turkmen Leader then noted that it is necessary to approach the issues of successful solution of objectives of the national economy’s strategic branches with a comprehensive base and full responsibility.
