Ashgabat Textile Complex launched the production of the first organic textile products in Turkmenistan.
In an interview with the Turkmenistan newspaper at the international exhibition “Key Areas of Development of Industries in Turkmenistan” held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan on October 15-16, a specialist of the Complex Azatdurdy Berjanov noted that the organic products of the complex are environmentally friendly.
“Dyes and emollients are not used in their production. But of course the methods of weaving our products are perfect. Currently, our eco-products include ‘home textiles’. These are various napkins, night gowns, soft slippers,” Berjanov said.
The specialist also added that soft children's toys, which were first produced in Turkmenistan by the Ashgabat Textile Complex, are also available for sale now.
The complex introduced its new products under the trademarks Vada and Goza at the exhibition.
Vada specializes in bamboo products, while Goza specializes in products made from cotton.
