The representatives of the company noted that the Ahal GTG plant familiarizes the world with the company’s technologies.

Turkmengaz State Concern intends to sign Memorandum of Understanding with Danish catalysis company Haldor Topsoe.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Myratgeldi Meredov submitted the draft Memorandum to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday.

The Head of State underlined the need to continue coordinated work in this direction and gave a number of specific instructions to the Deputy Chairman on enhancing partnerships with leading oil and gas companies with advanced experience.

The world’s first natural gas-to-gasoline plant based on the Topsoe’s advanced TIGAS™ technology was inaugurated in Turkmenistan in June this year.

During the opening ceremony of the plant in Ahal velayat, the representatives of the company noted that the plant familiarizes the world with the company’s technologies.

Türkmengaz State concern signed the Memorandum of understanding with the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.(Japan) and Sojitz Corporation (Japan) to design on the basis of available results and to build the second complex of the current gas to gasoline plant during the visit of the Turkmen delegation led by the President of the country to Japan in October this year.

According to information by Haldor Topsоe, the TIGAS solution is based on industry-proven Topsoe technologies and catalysts. Utilization is very high with gasoline making up more than 85% of the product stream and 11–13% valuable liquefied gases (LPG).
