At the invitation of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Turkmenistan-Bahrain Business Forum will be held in Manama on November 26-28.
Turkmen delegation consisting of representatives of ministries, sectoral departments of Turkmenistan and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs will visit the Kingdom of Bahrain on November 25-29 to participate in the forum.
The delegation will include representatives of the Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, Ministry of Finance and Economy, Ministry of Industry and Communication, Ministry of Textiles, Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, State Concerns Turkmengaz, Turkmennebit and Turkmenhimiya, Turkmen State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
The last such business forum between the two countries took place during the King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa’s visit to Turkmenistan in March.
During the forum, the parties signed Memorandum of Understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the gas and gas-chemical industries between the Turkmengaz State Concern and Gulf Petrochemical Industries, Confidentiality Agreement between Turkmengaz State Concern and Gulf Petrochemical Industries, Confidentiality Agreement between Turkmenhimiya State Concern and Gulf Petrochemical Industries, Memorandum of Understanding between the State Concern Turkmenhimiya and the company Gulf Petrochemical Industries.
During the talks between the President of Turkmenistan and the King of Bahrain on March 18, Turkmen Leader suggested to establish Turkmen – Bahraini Business Council.
