Three new cement plants must be built in velayats of Turkmenistan using foreign investments, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the Türkmensenagat State Agency during the Wednesday working meeting with the management of industrial and communication sectors of the country.
The Head of State stressed that in order to satisfy domestic needs and export cement, at least three more cement plants should be built. He then instructed to speed up the necessary work, and to reconstruct outdated enterprises.
Turkmen President underlined the low level of utilization of production capacities at the enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry and instructed Deputy Prime Minister Bayramgeldy Ovezov and the management of the Ministry of Textile Industry to determine the construction sites for new profile factories and to ensure their construction.
It is also necessary to train highly qualified marketing specialists, the President of Turkmenistan noted, adding that for their training, it is necessary to invite foreign specialists.
During the meeting, it was reported that more than $3.3 billion have been invested in the development of the Türkmenhimiýa State Concern over the past 10 years, after which the concern’s mineral fertilizer production capacity has tripled.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that for the timely and sufficient provision of the agricultural industry with mineral fertilizers, as well as for their export, it is necessary to ensure full production capacity of the new plants.
Turkmen President focused on the tasks facing the Türkmenhimiýa State Concern and emphasized the need to increase the volume of chemicals produced for export.
