The concert dedicated to Michael Jackson, held at the Turkmenistan Concert Center on previous Sunday, will be held for the second time on December 8.
Due to the high demand for performances with the participation of the String Orchestra conducted by Tahyr Atayev and several vocalists, the event will be organized again, the orchestra said in its official account.
“Judging by the enthusiastic reaction of the audience, they liked our concert,” said one of the concert organizers, Tahyr Atayev, in an interview with Turkmenistan's Golden Age information portal.
The first concert dedicated to the king of pop music featured vocalists Bahar Durdyyeva, Aynur Mahmydova, Maya Maksudova and Dovran Shammmyyev. The famous composition Thriller opened the concert program.
Tickets for the first concert ended several days before the premiere. The second concert will take place on December 8 at the House of Culture of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan and will start at 18:00.
String Orchestra conducted by Tahyr Atayev has held a concert in August dedicated to the works of the Rock band Queen.
Tickets for the second concert are sold for 40 and 50 manats.
