Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) hosted a meeting with the delegation of the Republic of Austria on Wednesday.
During the meeting at the Union, the Austrian delegation, which arrived at Turkmenistan on Monday and led by Vice-President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber Richard Schenz, negotiated bilateral cooperation in the private sector.
The UIET Chairman acquainted the guests with the activities of Turkmen businesspeople in the country and highlighted the priority areas for further cooperation.
The guests, which include representatives of the private sector, voiced their ideas regarding the further development of partnership with Turkmenistan. The parties placed special emphasis on cooperation in tourism sector between Turkmenistan and Austria.
The Austrian delegation also visited the enterprise of the Bir Dünýä company, equipped with Austria's modern advanced equipment.
The representative office of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan opened in Vienna in June 2017. The trade office links business circles of Turkmenistan and European countries, as well as contributes to the expansion of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
