Lebapgazçykaryş Management of Turkmengas State Concern began commercial extraction of natural gas from the Tajibay gas field located in Lebap velayat in northeastern Turkmenistan. Tens of millions of cubic meters of natural gas were obtained from the first production well.
The daily fuel production capacity of the gas well is more than 450 thousand cubic meters. In parallel, another 3 exploration wells are also being drilled.
The new Tajibay field is located near the large Malay gas field in Lebap velayat, which was put into commercial development more than 20 years ago. In the coming years, natural gas production in the field will increase significantly due to the commissioning of new wells.
Since the start of the year, Lebapgazçykaryş Management produced over 8 billion cubic meters of natural gas and more than 50 thousand tons of gas condensate.
