School of Entrepreneurs Launches Short-Term Courses for Tour Guides
Attendees of the 72-hour program will be thought in 2 months the basic principles of providing quality tour guiding services to tourists who came to Turkmenistan.

School of Entrepreneurs, which is under the supervision of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, has launched short-term courses for tour guides that are going to serve in the tourism industry.

Attendees of the 72-hour program will be thought in 2 months the basic principles of providing quality tour guiding services to tourists who came to Turkmenistan.

The program consists of three sections: Introduction to Tourism Industry, Historical architecture and natural attractions of Turkmenistan, Organization of tourism services and tour planning.

Tour-guiding courses will not be limited with theory, but around 45% of the program is based on practical applications of the knowledge.

Attendees who completed the Tour Guide course are expected to be proficient in using foreign languages and qualified to be employed by travel companies in the position of Tour Guide - Interpreter.

At the end of the program, attendees will be thought the concepts such as tourism services organization, infrastructures, ethics and etiquette, adequate communication, ethics of hospitality, basics of organizing and planning the tours.

The School of Entrepreneurs provides its educational and training services in five branches throughout Turkmenistan. Candidate has the flexibility in choosing any of the branches as the venue of their courses.

In recent years, Turkmenistan has finished the privatization process of all the state-owned tourism companies.
