Turkmenistan Airlines Temporarily Suspends Flights Over Iran
Turkmenistan Airlines Open Joint-Stock Company temporarily suspended from January 10 the Ashgabat - Abu Dhabi - Ashgabat route flight and from January 13 the Ashgabat - Dubai - Ashgabat route flight.

Turkmenistan Airlines Agency decided to temporarily suspend the use of Iranian airspace in order to ensure the safety of flights in civil aviation. This decision applies to all carriers in Turkmenistan.

The decision applies to all transit flights and flights with landing at Iranian airports. In this regard, Turkmenistan Airlines Open Joint-Stock Company temporarily suspended from January 10 the Ashgabat - Abu Dhabi - Ashgabat route flight and from January 13 the Ashgabat - Dubai - Ashgabat route flight.

Starting from February 2, Turkmenistan Airlines will begin regular flights to Jeddah (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and to the capital of Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur.

Turkmenistan Airlines is Turkmenistan's national flag carrier, offering passenger and cargo flights from its base in Ashgabat.

The airline daily transports more than 5 thousand passengers domestically and annually transports almost 3 million passengers on international and domestic routes.
