At an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, during which the results of last year were summed up, new deputy prime ministers, ministers and hyakims (governors) were appointed, some officials were relieved of their posts.
During the government session, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov separated the industrial complex from the transport and communications sector, and appointed Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers to supervise each sphere.
The Head of State appointed Bayramgeldi Ovezov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, as the Head of the transport and communication complex and emphasized that he now has a great and responsible task in monitoring the activities of all transport and communication agencies.
In accordance with the Decree of President, Shamuhammet Durdyliyev was released from the post of the Ashgabat Hyakim and was appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan in charge of the construction and industrial complex. The Vice Prime Minister will oversee the works carried out in construction, industry, building materials, and energy fields, Türkmenhimiýa State Concern and Ashgabat city.
Gochmyrat Myradov was relieved of his post as Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers due to his transfer to another job.
Gadyrgeldi Mushshikov, who served as the Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber, was appointed the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers overseeing the economy and finance sphere.
Durdyly Durdylyyev became the new Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber of Turkmenistan. Prior to the position, he served as the deputy head of the Chamber
The Head of State appointed Charymyrat Purchekov as Minister of Energy, relieving him of the post of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov was relieved from the post of the Akhal velayat’s Hyakim and was appointed as the head of the new Ministry of Industry and Construction Operations of Turkmenistan.
Turkmen Leader appointed Ezizgeldi Annamuhammedov to the post of the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, and Rahim Gandymov to the post of the Minister of Construction and Architecture.
The Head of State also signed Decrees on the appointment of hyakims, appointing Yaztagan Gylyjov as the Ashgabat Hyakim, Yazmuhammet Gurbanov as the Hyakim of the Ahal velayat, Tangryguly Atahallyev as the Hyakim of the Balkan velayat, and Shohrat Amangeldiyev as the Hyakim of the Lebap velayat.
