Miras Individual Enterprise, which launched the production of poultry feed in November last year, started growing tomatoes for the first time this year in its greenhouse, located in Ahal velayat’s Tejen etrap in the southern Turkmenistan.
In an interview with the Bereketli Toprak newspaper, Department Director of the company Bilbil Bayrammyradova said the company also grows fruit trees on a 20-hectare land and Bandito tomato variety in a 5-hectare greenhouse in addition to poultry meat production.
Bayrammyradova said the main activity of the enterprise is the provision of poultry meat, adding that the company annually produces 2,000 tons of chicken meat. The company’s Türkmen Towuk branded meat products are then delivered to retail stores of the country.
“On a 50-hectare land plot allocated near the enterprise, we planted corn, wheat, barley for the production of poultry feed,” Bayrammyradova said. “After the ripening of the crops, we process them using special technologies and produce 10 tons of poultry feed per hour. Local products make up 80% of the necessary raw materials for production. ”
Miras Individual Enterprise, which employs 60 people, produces more than 200 thousand broiler chickens every 45 days.
