Businessman Shohrat Saipov, who established the production of dairy products in the Lebap velayat in the northeastern Turkmenistan, began to keep dairy cattle.
Saipov mastered part of the 265 hectares of land allocated by the state in the velayat’s Sayat etrap for livestock. He purchased 160 dairy cows from Iran.
The private farmer keeps part of the cows in a closed block of the complex, and part in open pastures. Each cow yields an average of 35 liters of milk a day.
The businessman also grows necessary feed for livestock on the allocated land plot.
The businessman’s dairy enterprise produces cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, and butter. The S branded products of the enterprise are shipped to various stores of the country.
