The opening ceremony of the new building of Mary Oil and Gas secondary professional school of Türkmengaz State Concern took place in the administrative center of Mary velayat on Friday.
The total area of the new educational building, designed for 240 students, is about three thousand square meters. The building includes 16 rooms for practical training, equipped with modern educational equipment in order to train highly qualified specialists.
In the new educational building, students will study in four areas:
- mechanics (engineering technology);
- industrial equipment (construction of industrial equipment and its technical application);
- electrics (automation of electric power systems and relay protection);
- information and computer technology (information systems).
Currently, 1,900 future specialists of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan are studying at the Mary secondary professional school. In specialized disciplines and digital technologies alone, the educational institution annually accepts 700 students who receive education in 18 specialties.
The new facility was commissioned by Türkmengaz with the participation of investments from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). Çyzgy Economic Society constructed the new building.
