Over 20 industrial and agricultural production facilities are set to be commissioned in Turkmenistan in 2020.
During the video conference session, held by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Monday, it was briefed about the construction of the facilities.
The new livestock complexes for the production of meat and milk will be opened in Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz and Mary velayats and a poultry complex will be built in the Ahal velayat.
New greenhouses for growing vegetables and fruits will be fully operational in Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary velayats this year.
A number of industrial facilities will also be commissioned this year, including Turkmen carpet weaving enterprises in the city of Ashgabat, as well as in the Ahal, Dashoguz, Mary and Lebap velayats.
At the same period, an enterprise for the production of decorative metal products with an annual capacity of 300 tons will be opened in Ashgabat, a factory for the annual production of 80 tons of yarn and an enterprise for the production of reinforced concrete products will be launched in the Ahal velayat, an enterprise for the production of 5 thousand tons of construction mixes will appear in the Balkan velayat, a gas compressor station at Malay gas deposit with annual output capacity of 30 billion cubic meters and an aluminum window and door production factory are set to appear in Lebap velayat, carbon production plant with output capacity of 3 thousand tons will enter operation in Mary velayat.
