On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov on Saturday congratulated all women heads of the embassies and representations of the international organizations working in Turkmenistan on International Women’s Day.
The Turkmen Foreign Minister presented gifts and wished them strong health, family well-being and success in their responsible job.
In turn, the heads of diplomatic missions conveyed the words of gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for his warm wishes and outstanding attention paid to them.
Women employees of embassies and representations of the international organizations in Turkmenistan, including the UN and the OSCE also attended the concert dedicated to International Women’s Day at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ashgabat on Sunday.
During the event, the UN Resident Coordinator and UNFPA Representative in Turkmenistan Elena Panova, the Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia Natalia Gherman and the Head of the OSCE Center in Turkmenistan Natalya Drozd made remarks and congratulated all women on International Women’s Day.
