Turkmenistan intends to produce necessary resources for the country's agriculture by processing smoke and production waste from a new cement plant.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on Thursday with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers supervising the construction and industrial complex and the heads of several ministries.
The meeting addressed issues related to strengthening the economic potential of Turkmenistan, transforming it into one of the industrialized countries, as well as issues related to the modernization of the construction industry and the production of building materials.
The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shamuhammet Durdylyyev reported on the current construction of 737 different facilities in Turkmenistan.
After the Deputy’s briefing, the Turkmen Leader noted the effectiveness of the measures taken to industrialize the country, adding that the works carried out in the electric power industry should be developed in line with modern requirements.
The Minister of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov then briefed the participants on the ongoing works studying the issue of production of necessary resources for the country's agriculture by processing smoke and production waste from a new cement plant that will be built in near future.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said the supply of the ongoing large-scale construction in the country with the necessary materials depends on the effective activities of the Ministry and emphasized the importance of paying special attention to increasing the output of construction materials that meet international standards.
As the meeting came to an end, the Head of State noted the importance of a responsible approach to the implementation of the given tasks.
