President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on Tuesday, during a working meeting with government officials in charge of the trade complex, instructed the organization of online commerce and the expansion of the order delivery system, which will allow the trade to be carried out with the modern trends.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Chary Gylyjov, who oversees the trade complex, as well as the heads of ministries and industry departments of the trade sector attended the meeting. The meeting addressed issues related to the implementation of the Concept for the Development of Digital Economy until 2025.
The Turkmen Leader said the list of domestic products competitive in international markets is growing as a result of large-scale activities on the production of import-substituting products, the development of agriculture, processing industries, as well as the creation of new industrial areas of the Turkmen economy.
During the meeting, Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations Orazmyrat Gurbannazarov, Minister of Textile Industry Resul Rejepov, Chairman of the Türkmenhaly State Association Ogulhajat Ishangulyyeva, Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Alexander Dadayev, as well as Chairman of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange Begench Charyyev briefed the participants with the activities in their areas.
After the briefings, the President of Turkmenistan noted that among the main tasks of the trading system is the export of surplus products produced in the country, ensuring the coherence of markets and strengthening sustainable food supply to the population.
The Head of State then emphasized the introduction of digital systems and instructed to identify and implement new modern management methods, and improve activities in the field of marketing and management.
