Turkmen Agricultural Company to Build Crop Processing Plant
Tebigy Ekin planted potatoes on 300 hectares, onions on 70 hectares, carrots and cabbage on 20 hectares of land last year.

Tebigy Ekin farm enterprise, specializing in agricultural production in Lebap velayat, intends to build a small-scale crop processing enterprise this year. The new crop processing plant expects to employ about 100 people.

The company, founded in 2019, planted crops on 791 hectares of 953-hectare land leased for 99 years. The farmers planted about 10 types of vegetables and gourds, including potatoes on 300 hectares, onions on 70 hectares, carrots and cabbage on 20 hectares.

The farmers planted 12 thousand bushes of grapes of Taipy variety on around 10 hectares of land.

There are six divisions in the Tebigy Ekin that work with different types of crops.

Tebigy Ekin sells its crops to consumers through the local markets and the Lebap Miwe Production Association.
