In accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan on the privatization of state property, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan will hold an auction for the sale of state property.
According to the local Türkmenistan newspaper’s Friday issue, the auction will be held on April 22 in the building of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.
The objects of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, the Türkmengaz State Concern, the Türkmenhaly Production Association, the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, and the hyakimliks (administrations) of Lebap and Mary velayats will be put up for auction.
Citizens of Turkmenistan, foreign nationals, as well as non-state legal entities of Turkmenistan and foreign legal entities, who have submitted an application in the prescribed form, have made a deposit and special fee, and have been registered to participate in the auction on time, are allowed to participate in the auction in the procedure established by the legislation of Turkmenistan.
Foreign legal entities, international organizations established in accordance with the laws of foreign states, their permanent representatives and branches in Turkmenistan can participate in the privatization of state property only with the conclusion of the Agency for Protection against Economic Risks under the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
Applications are accepted and participants are registered by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan from the date of publication of this information message and end 24 hours before the auction.
Consultations on the procedure for participation in the auction and the provision of additional information on the objects for privatization are carried out by the Department of Property Relations and Enterprise Support of the Ministry of Finance and Economy and specialized departments.
All bidders are given the opportunity to get information about the privatization objects. The privatization of state objects is carried out with all their obligations.
