Scientists at the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov managed to obtain environmentally friendly organic-mineral fertilizer by processing chicken manure.
According to the scientists, broiler chicken manure served as a raw material for organic fertilizer.
In the process of developing the fertilizer, a special spectrometer was used to study the composition of the ash obtained by burning poultry manure at a temperature of 850°C-900°C.
The scientists said the organic substances such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium elements were found as a result of research in the composition of bird manure.
The scientists focused on the compliance of the obtained substance with the requirements for organic mineral fertilizers. It contains organic substances useful for plants such as nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and many other macro and micro elements.
It is proved that on the basis of non-waste technologies it is possible to obtain environmentally friendly, economically viable, soil-enriching organic mineral fertilizer by processing waste generated on poultry farms.
