Representatives of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan and Germany’s Commerzbank AG raised the topic of financing projects, implemented in Turkmenistan with the participation of German companies during the video conference meeting on Thursday.
During the negotiations, the parties noted the effectiveness of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Commerzbank and discussed the key aspects of collaboration.
The sides noted the positive transformations in financial-banking sector of Turkmenistan and the significance of digitalization in this field, taking into consideration the international norms and involvement of the best international practices.
The German side underlined the importance of the Turkmen-German Intergovernmental Working Group on Economy in the context of further promotion of joint projects, reaffirmed its support for the economic policy of Turkmenistan and its readiness to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
Commerzbank AG, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, is present in more than 50 countries around the world.
