President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held an off-site meeting of Cabinet of Ministers at the Avaza Congress Center in the city of Turkmenbashi on Tuesday.
The meeting addressed issues related measures taken to prevent the entry and spread of coronavirus infection into the country.
During the meeting, President Berdimuhamedov was briefed by officials on activities in this direction. The Head of State then outlined future tasks.
Turkmen President noted that in the framework of strengthening measures to prevent the spread of dangerous diseases, health facilities were fully equipped with the necessary medical equipment, personal protective gears, test systems and disinfectants.
The Turkmen Leader said comprehensive disinfection measures were taken at all state institutions of the country.
During the government session, the President of Turkmenistan addressed the hyakims (mayors) of the velayats with specific instructions on the proper preparation for the summer season of the sanatoriums located on their territories.
Products manufactured in Turkmenistan will be donated to Russia
As a gesture of friendship and good neighborliness, the Turkmen Leader signed a Decree on sending goods produced in Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation.
According to the document, the Ministry of Industry and Construction, the Ministry of Textile Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the Türkmenhimiýa and Türkmengaz state concerns, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, hyakimliks (administrations) of Ahal, Lebap and Mary velayats are instructed to donate to the Russian Federation relevant food products, goods and materials.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also signed a Decree on the dismissal of Bayramov Atadurdy Haldurdyevich from the post of Consul of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation (Astrakhan) due to his transfer to another job and on the appointment of Garayev Guych Archayevich to the post.
