Specialists of the Centre of Computer Technologies of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan and Agzybirlik Tilsimaty Joint Venture are carrying out a project in the sphere of digitization of the state trade network in Ashgabat.
Particularly, 300 sets of POS-equipment for automation of trade including touchpad computers, cheque printers, barcode scanners and printers, money boxes were produced under Agzybirlik Tilsimaty brand. All retail stores in Ashgabat under the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations will be provided with this equipment.
Transfer to digital system will be completed until the end of this year. The system will unite all the stores to single system, which will in turn allow in online mode to monitor movement of goods: delivery to warehouses, dispatch to shops, volume of sales and remaining stock.
The centralized system makes it possible to organize effective work of management and marketing in the distribution network, particularly, to ensure uninterrupted supply of goods, introduce electronic reporting of sales and settlements on purchases.
According to the Director of the Centre Hanmammet Mollakov, the new website will be created for convenience of consumers. The website will contain information about each shop, its address, contact details, variety of available products and other relevant information about products.
The website visitors will be able to place orders with delivery and receive additional information in a question-answer format. This system will allow to study demand in the domestic market. In the next stages, the electronic commerce system will be installed in velayats of the country.
Agzybirlik Tilsimaty JV will also produce nearly 160 thousand computers for the first-graders in Turkmenistan this year.
