Turkmen Company Intends to Increase Its Potato Production
Gozly Economic Society harvested 900 tons of potatoes from 15 hectares of land last year.

Gozly Economic Company intends to harvest 60 tons of potatoes per hectare in the pilot plot in early June. The company uses the technology of the German potato breeding company EUROPLANT, which provides potato farmers with fast ripening varieties, to grow the crops.

The Turkmen company was allotted 2.5 thousand hectares of land plots this year for the cultivation of cotton and corn. The company also intends to expand its potato fields.

Gozly Economic Society harvested 900 tons of potatoes from 15 hectares of land last year. This year, the company intends to use autumn varieties to harvest its second crop.

Gozly Economic Society includes in its structure Halk Market and Bereket companies, Balam confectionary enterprise, refrigeration and storage facilities and a factory for the production of metal packages, with an annual capacity of about 75 million products.

Since 2008, Gozly has been active in such significant sectors of the economy as consumer goods, agriculture, trade and services.
