Turkmenistan, UK Show Interest in Expanding Business Ties
The UIET Chairman held an online meeting with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Turkmenistan.

The Chairman of the Union of industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) Dovran Hudayberdiyev on Tuesday held an online meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom to Turkmenistan Hugh Stanley Philpott, the UIET said in a press release.

The Ambassador congratulated the UIET Chairman on his election to this position and confirmed the interest of the UK in the further development of trade and economic cooperation and close business contacts with Turkmenistan, particularly in expanding productive cooperation between business entities.

The meeting participants discussed promising areas of cooperation, including the introduction of modern European technologies and equipment in the activities of Turkmen entrepreneurs, and the implementation of joint projects in various fields.

Noting the presence of great potential of the cooperation, the sides emphasized the importance of further cooperation within the framework of the Turkmen-British Trade and Industrial Council, and the organization of direct talks between the companies of the two countries interested in the cooperation.
