Chairman of Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (UIET) Dovran Hudayberdiyev on Thursday held an online meeting with Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Turkmenistan Alexander Elizarov, the Union said in a press release.
The Chairman and the head of the international department of the UIET touched upon the organization of cooperation in the fields of livestock and crop production, particularly the supply of veterinary drugs, seeds of fruits and vegetables and refrigeration units for fruits.
In turn, the Russian Trade Representative voiced his proposals on the establishment of new logistics directions for ferry cargo transportation, and also offered assistance in establishing direct business contacts between companies of the two countries.
Taking into account the vast experience and long-term plans, the parties spoke in favor of intensifying trade and economic cooperation between the Turkmen and Russian business circles.
