Turkmenistan to Purchase Anti-Viral Medications From Russian Companies
Main Pharmacy Association of the Ministry of Health Care and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan will purchase anti-viral medications.

Main Pharmacy Association of the Ministry of Health Care and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan is authorized to conclude contracts with drug manufacturers of the Russian Federation for the purchase of anti-viral medications.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the relevant Resolution on Wednesday, State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reports.

The resolution was signed with the goal of implementing the State Health Program, the Law of Turkmenistan “On the Protection of Citizens' Health”, as well as strengthening public health and strengthening measures to counter the spread of viral diseases.

In Turkmenistan, the State Health Program was adopted in 1995 and has since been implemented in stages.

According to a press release issued on Wednesday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, a system has been organized for regularly providing the population free of charge with basic medicines that help to strengthen human immunity.
