At the same time, a container train consisting of 48 40-foot containers will arrive from China to Turkmenistan. These trains will cross at the Altynkol station in Kazakhstan. The containers are currently being reloaded from wagons belonging to Turkmenistan to Chinese ones and vice versa.

The total length of the route is 8,746 kilometers, of which 712 kilometers pass through Turkmenistan from Turkmenbashi port to Serhetyaka, 3,450 kilometers pass through Kazakhstan from Bolashak to Altynkol and 4,584 kilometers pass through China from Horgos to Qingdao.
