Bakery in Turkmenistan’s Baherden Produces Four Tons of Bread Daily
The enterprise bakes more than 6,270 loaves a day.

The 1st production workshop of the Baherden Foreign Trade Cooperative Association of the Consumer Society Union of Ahal velayat of Turkmenistan produces 4 tons of the traditional Turkmen flat round bread (churek) and loaves per day, Ahal Durmuşy newspaper reported on Monday.

The workshops of the enterprise are equipped with FTL brick ovens and special baking machinery from leading Italian manufacturers. In total, the enterprise bakes more than 6,270 loafes a day.

The production workshop also includes 8 tamdyrs, traditional clay ovens, for making churek. The enterprise produces around 2,450 units of the tamdyr churek per day.

The the enterprise operates in three shifts and employs around 30 people.
