President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the Independence Day of Turkmenistan, Türkmenistan newspaper reported on Sunday.
“Your country is confidently following the path of socio-economic development,” President Putin emphasized in his message, noting that Ashgabat, which is pursuing the policy of neutrality, makes a considerable contribution to stability and security in Central Asia.
“We attach great importance to the relations of strategic partnership with Turkmenistan. I am confident that through joint efforts we will continue to actively expand bilateral dialogue and cooperation in various areas, as well as our constructive interaction in tackling challenges and threats to international security. This undoubtedly corresponds to the core interests of our friendly nations,” Putin noted in the message.
President of the United States of America Donald Trump in his message noted that the United States has been a partner of Turkmenistan for almost three decades, and expressed readiness to continue "the tradition in the future, supporting the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the country."
“Turkmenistan plays an important role in the prosperity of Central and South Asia, especially in areas such as energy security and transport. I wholeheartedly support you and your country in their commitment to peace and hope to further strengthen cooperation between our countries,” President Donald Trump said in his message of greetings.
Leader of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping conveyed to the Head of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen people sincere congratulations and best wishes, noting that under the wise leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, the country maintains a long-term stable political situation and the economy is dynamically developing.
“I pay great attention to the development of the Chinese-Turkmen relations and value the traditional friendship between our countries. I am ready with you to make joint efforts for further systematic development of bilateral strategic partnership and bringing it to a new level for the benefit of both countries and peoples. I wish prosperity and progress to friendly Turkmenistan, and happiness and prosperity to its people,” said President of the people's Republic of China Xi Jinping in his address.
