One of the celebrations on the Day of Healthcare Workers and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan was the opening of new large medical facilities in the capital of Ashgabat.
According to the TDH news agency, opening ceremony of the International Burn Center and the Aesthetic Center took place in the capital city on Saturday with participation of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Chairman of the Mejlis (Parliament), members of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of various departments, military and law enforcement agencies, the media, the Hyakim (Mayor) of Ashgabat, and medical specialists from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and healthcare workers of Turkmenistan also attended the ceremony.
Modern five-story building of Burn Complex, built by Turkish Gap Inşaat company, is designed for 130 patients where 20 beds are for children, 80 for adults and 30 are in plastic and rehabilitation surgery and intensive care department.
The Center includes reception with ambulance service, consultative and diagnostic departments, laboratory, rehabilitation department, endoscopy, disinfection and in-patient treatment departments. The Center also has decompression chambers, which allow providing treatment of six patients simultaneously.
The Aesthetic Center, built by the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, includes departments of medical and aesthetic cosmetology, weight correction, podology, orthonyxia and a health department. The medical facility also has a beauty center offering a wide range of cosmetic services.
The Center will also provide consultations to the citizens, organize training courses in general areas of aesthetic medicine, seminars with participation of local and foreign specialists, classes for improvement of qualification of personnel in this direction.
