Turkmen State Financial Institutions Strengthen Cooperation With Commerzbank
Commerzbank AG, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, is one of the largest German banks with branches in more than 50 countries around the world.

Turkmen delegation and the heads of the German Commerzbank’s Luxembourg branch discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation in an online meeting on Thursday.

According to the TDH news agency, the Turkmen delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the Central Bank and the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs.

The meeting participants noted that the financial circles of Germany and Europe highly appreciate the effective measures taken to strengthen the national financial and banking system of Turkmenistan, which allowed the country to maintain stability and high rates of socio-economic growth in a difficult period for the world economy.

In this regard, representatives of the second largest bank in Germany by the total value of its assets discussed prospects for cooperation with their Turkmen colleagues, considering the macroeconomic reforms and successfully implemented large-scale reform programs.

Emphasizing the significant role of Turkmenistan in the sustainable development of the Central Asian region, specialists of the German bank declared Commerzbank's readiness to deepen partnership in order to further advance Turkmenistan along the path of progress.
