Businesses from Russia, China, USA, Germany, UAE, Turkey, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan purchased colorless sheet glass, dyed terry products, cotton yarn, dried roots and rhizomes of licorice for foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week,
According to the Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet’s Saturday report, the total amount of transactions in foreign currency exceeded $30.423 million.
Businesses from Germany, the UAE, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased gasoline, diesel fuel, base oil and petroleum coke produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries for foreign currency. Businesses based in Panama and Afghanistan bought heavy vacuum gas oil, and Russian business circles bought polyethylene produced at the Seydi Oil Refinery.
Business entities from the UK, the UAE, Turkey, Kazakhstan bought cotton yarn, and businesses from Pakistan bought licorice root extract for manat funds. The total amount of transactions amounted to over 34.25 million manats.
For the domestic market, local businesses purchased polypropylene film and cotton fiber for over 7.655 million manats.
State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 80 transactions last week.
