Turkmenistan Establishes Cooperation With Mir TV And Radio Company
An Agreement on Cooperation between the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography and Mir Interstate Television and Radio Company was signed upon the outcomes of the meeting.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov on Monday held online talks with the Chairman of Mir Interstate Television and Radio Company Radik Batyrshin.

According to Turkmen Foreign Ministry’s press release, the meeting participants considered cooperation opportunities in the area of television and radio broadcasting, in particular the information exchange and interaction in the area of mass media.

According to the report, the Turkmen side regards Mir as one of the leading TV and radio broadcasting companies with a multimillion audience carrying out an important mission in strengthening political, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between countries and peoples.

Following the meeting, the sides signed an Agreement on cooperation in the area of information Policy between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Mir Interstate Television and Radio Company, and an Agreement on Cooperation between the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography and Mir Interstate Television and Radio Company.

The signing of these documents is an important step towards expanding the capabilities of the Turkmen media by posting news and information and analytical materials on the resources of Mir, which broadcasts to dozens of countries around the world.
