Foreign Businesses Purchase Turkmen Gasoline, Licorice Extract
Foreign businesses purchased aviation kerosene, motor gasoline, heating oil and petroleum bitumen produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $116 million, Turkmenistan’s Golden Age news outlet reported on Saturday.

For foreign currency, businesses based in the Swizerland, the U.K., the U.A.E., Turkey, Malta and Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene, motor gasoline, hydrotreated diesel fuel, heating oil and petroleum bitumen produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.

Companies from the U.A.E., Uzbekistan and Afghanistan also bought ECO-93 gasoline produced by Türkmengaz (Turkmengas) State Concern, and Kazakh businesses purchased urea produced by Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern.

In addition, businesses from the U.A.E., Turkey, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased colorless glass, cotton yarn and dry extract of licorice for foreign currency.

Businesses from Scotland, the U.A.E. and Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn for over 15 million manats.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased high density polyethylene and polypropylene produced by Türkmengaz SC, and handmade carpets for over 320 million manats.

State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 158 transactions last week.
