Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Shamuhammet Durdyliyev, who also oversees developments in the capital, on Wednesday reported to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the planned construction projects that are part of the 18th phase of development of Ashgabat in the Koshi residential area.
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the capital's Hyakimlik (Administration), where he held a meeting on preparations for the celebration of the 140th anniversary of Ashgabat and its further development, and also got acquainted with new urban development projects, including the relevant engineering and road transport infrastructure and the features of the design of future buildings, official media of the country reports.
Among the projects presented are the Ashgabat City project and a complex of modern cottages of the 17th phase of development of the capital on the Altyn Köl Lake’s shore.
The Head of State also got acquainted with the stages of project implementation and construction of the Tashkent Park, the International Health and Rehabilitation Center, the International Scientific and Clinical Center of Physiology and the new building of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction.
During the meeting, the Turkmen President noted that the groundbreaking ceremony of a new residential complex in the north of the capital and the grand opening and commissioning of the new Garagum hotel will take place on May 25.
