The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $29.826 million.
For foreign currency, the Afghan businesses purchased gasoline and aviation kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries and ECO-93 gasoline produced by the Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) State Concern, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Saturday.
Companies based in Afghanistan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan bought colorless sheet glass, cotton yarn and dyed terry products for foreign currency.
The China-based businesses of purchased wool of Sarya breed of sheep for over 3.765 million manats.
For the domestic market, local businesses purchased polypropylene and packaging film produced by the TCOR, and hand-made carpets and cotton linters worth over 48.626 million manats.
State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 160 transactions last week.
