Business Turkmenistan website managed to become the top Turkmen website and the 2nd most visited website in Turkmenistan.

Business Turkmenistan (BT) information service celebrates its 2-year anniversary on June 1.

Within two years of its launch, Business Turkmenistan website (BUSINESS.COM.TM) managed to become the top Turkmen website and the 2nd most visited website in Turkmenistan, according to the Alexa Traffic Rank indicators as of June 1, 2021. The rank is calculated from a combination of daily visitors and page views on a website over a 3-month period. According to Alexa, Google ranks 1st in the list of the most visited websites in Turkmenistan.

Ashgabat-based Business Turkmenistan had started its news operations in Turkmen, English and Russian languages. The information website rolled out its Turkish version in September, 2020. Its mobile applications are available both on Google Play and App Store.

Business Turkmenistan connects local and international businesses and consumers to a dynamic network of news, information and ideas by accurately delivering business information, news and insights to audiences in Turkmenistan and around the world.

It also provides users with up-to-date quotes of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. The online publication regularly publishes vacancies available at companies operating in Turkmenistan and tenders announced by private companies and government agencies in the country.

Official websites of government entities and international organizations frequently refer to the publications of Business Turkmenistan. The website of Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan consistently cite to the news published by the website. International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce lists Business Turkmenistan website as a news and information source in its Turkmenistan Commercial Guide. Founded by the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) as an open joint-stock company, the website funds itself, including via revenue generated from advertisements and promotional articles. The company has been licensed by Türkmenaragatnaşyk (Turkmen Communications) Agency to carry out activities in Turkmenistan in the field of communications, including preparation and publication of news.
